I am sure many of you already use GitHub to identify IT talent. It’s a great source when you’re looking for professionals that are also active in the community. One of the biggest advantages of using GitHub is that you actually get to see what kind of projects the profile is interested in, how active they are, or even have the power to review the quality of their work. If everything checks out, the only thing you really need to do is contact the user… and that’s when our little trick might come in handy.

2. Now use this link:

3. Visit the above website and you’ll see the source code of a webpage, something like this:
4. Now press Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F) to launch search within the webpage, and search for “@” – and there’s the email you were trying to identify!
Now that you know about this little trick, you may consider yourself a sourcing hacker!
